Independently-owned and operated by Karen Gerod, Swim Café offers the perfect place to surf the Internet, meet friends or play a game of Scrabble while enjoying a richly roasted and freshly prepared fair trade coffee. We also have a full menu of salads and panini crafted to take advantage of in-season ingredients.

Swim Café offers more than just good flavors. Swim offers 100% fair trade coffees from Just Coffee, a small company based out of Madison, Wisconsin, whose dedication to a great cup of coffee is coupled with a 21st century business model.  Working with democratically organized cooperatives predominately located in South America, they provide their partner growers with a fair price for their coffee – about 3 or 4 times the standard world coffee market price.

We also offer Ineeka Tea, a 100% organic, whole leaf Indian tea. Ineeka’s teas is the only tea company to own its own gardens. The tea estates total about 25,000 acres in the Darjeeling and Assam regions of India and are home to about 12,000 workers and their families, each of which are given access to free housing, free medical facilities, and free educational facilities.

We offer fresh treats for your pet as well, in 100 % human quality food vegetarian and non-vegetarian varieties. Begging Paws dog bakery has designed special park packs for Swim customers, so your dog won’t mind when you stop for coffee on your morning walk.

Swim offers its coffee in a fittingly airy fresh blue and green space. We offer free Wi-fi, and our chairs are comfortable. Your snack or meal will be served to you on deliciously colored Sengware café ware from Seattle. 

Swim Specials

Swim Café offers some special deals and events. We have lovely  vintagey lunchboxes which we sell empty or full of baked goods as a gift. If you bring your Swim Snackbox back in, we will fill it with lunch at a 10% discount. We also love board games, and if you play them at Swim on Sunday you’ll get a free beverage or baked good.
